Central Rock Gym - Watertown
October 3 - 4, 2026
Safe Sends Community Festival was created to help bridge the gap between indoor and outdoor climbing. We are bringing people together to learn, climb, and connect, while having fun along the way. As more people discover climbing in gyms and venture outside, access to the knowledge and skills needed to climb outdoors safely has never been more important.
Climbing for Change and Black Diamond are bringing safety education, professional instruction, and community together—and keeping cost low so that access to this knowledge isn't the barrier that keeps someone from learning how to stay safe.
Join us at CRG – Watertown on October 3 for a full day of climbing, learning, and community! Sign up for an affordable Gym-to-Crag clinic led by AMGA SPI-certified guides, then meet up with fellow clinic participants and guides at a local crag the following day to practice some of your new skills outdoors.
Festival attendees can also join a Pro Athlete Clinic or put their skills to the test in CRG’s Community Competition. Come climb, learn, have fun, and connect with other climbers as we work together to build a safer, more inclusive outdoor climbing community.
If the clinic you’d like to register for is currently sold out, click here to join the waitlist. If there is enough demand, we’ll do our best to add an additional session. If a new session becomes available, we’ll notify you right away and reserve a spot for you for 48 hours to complete your registration.

After the Safe Sends clinics, stick around for RAD SENDS, Central Rock Gym’s citizens climbing competition! And if you know Watertown, you know we don’t do competitions often—so we’re making this one count.
RAD SENDS is a classic redpoint competition with categories (and prizes!) for Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Elite climbers. Come throw down, cheer on your friends, meet some amazing people, and—of course—get in some RAD SENDS!
Entry: $50
